The Thunderbird LAB (Language and Business) Program is in association with Thunderbird School of Global Management and is hosted at Peking University. It is a study abroad program designated exclusively for those who are interested in learning the necessary skills that will maximize individual success on their business pursuits with China. The LAB Program curriculum consists of not only Chinese business language immersion, and addition to business courses on how to conduct business in China, lectures on understanding the Chinese legal and political systems, seminars on cross-cultural communication, field trips to corporations and as well as roundtable discussion with executives. All LAB's language instructors are young, energetic and well trained, as many of the faculty members are bi-lingual (in English and Chinese) and are culturally experienced. Most importantly, they are experts in their fields with a minimum of 5 years of business experience. Students may feel free to apply to either Fall, Spring and/or Summer semester. Academic year is also available.

The mission of Thunderbird LAB Program is to equip students and working professionals with the necessary language skills, business and cultural knowledge thus maximizing success in their careers relative to conducting business with China. In addition, Thunderbird LAB Program also serves as a living laboratory for those studying Chinese business.
